Size
The model has a size of 140 mm x 110 mm x 75 mm (HxLxD)
The LED lamp is optional. So if you do not want to use an LED tealight candle, you do not need to print the LED base of the model.
Printing
I printed the parts on my Prusa MK3S. The 3D files (3MF) are aligned so that you can print them directly. All parts can be printed without supports.
For the picture panels, I recommend a 0.25 mm nozzle and a layer height of 0.10 mm. The body can be printed with a 0.4 mm standard nozzle and a layer height of 0.20 mm.
You should print the back panel (panel 00) in white so that the snowflake moon shines.
Panel 1 (moon) should be printed in a bright color. (I have used an azure blue)
For a higher contrast, you should print panels 02 to 05 in a darker tone. (I have used a dark blue).
You can print panels 06 - 12 in white.
Assembly
The model has has 17 parts:
- 12 panels that form the 3D image
- 2 parts for frame with guide rails for that hold the panels
