Singularity Chess is a chess variant played on a distorted chess board, where the pieces make strange moves.  This board has Singularity Chess on one side, and normal chess on the other.

For rules or to try online, see https://greenchess.net/rules.php?v=singularity. For a board image to 2D-print, see the “Other boards” download on https://greenchess.net/info.php?item=downloads

The model was first drawn in Inkscape, then exported using the “Export to OpenSCAD” plugin.  The OpenSCAD files were edited slightly to create each part (dark/light squares, board etc).  Edit the OpenSCAD files if you wish to change the thickness of the top/bottom layer.

To print on a single-extruder Prusa printer, use the "Multiple Extruders" setting of Prusa Slicer – it's useful to set each extruder to a different colour in “Printer Settings → Extruder 1” etc.

Then add the "board" part, right click it, choose "Add Part", and add each of the other parts (squares etc) in turn.  They should line up automatically.  Assign each part to a different extruder.  Set the "Tool Change G-Code" to "M600". Use the colour print preview in Prusa Slicer to check everything is as you expect, and see in what order each colour should be loaded.

The 3MF files have all this done already.

The squares/circles are only a single layer thick, so choose your filament carefully.  Some filaments are very opaque, others will allow the centre to show through.

My project and G-code include a full-height, 3-loop skirt.  This is because of what seems like an underextrusion bug during colour changes – I have the underextrusion in the skirt.

See the README.txt file for instructions on colour changes of my G-code files.

The chessmen shown in the photos are “Organic Chess Set” by NTX9 and “Alien Life chess set” by ethanjurman.
