I was in a situation where a ball pit for children was too large for the number of balls in it. So I was searching for a solution to separate the pit in halfs. After some time I got the idea to use pool noodles because they are cheap and not dangerous for children and could be used later on.
Print at least one top and one bottom part. If you need more height, then print 2 mids for one additional row. Screw them together, cut the pool noodle to the length you need, then stack them on top of each other. Done!
Other required tools:
- 2x M3x6 or M3x8 screws & nut
- Pool noodles (diameter about 67mm)
Print informations:
- Layer: 0.2mm
- Infill: 20% (or more)
