Housemate insist on using one of these scrubbing brushes but would ither leave it on the bench and making a big mess or sitting in a cup with no drainage making it gross. realised at the same time there isnt a nice place to put the scourer or sink plug when not in use so designed this.
It features a raised section to get over the lipof the sink and has a slight slop towards the front for drainage. I may have over designed the lip to stop the water just running back onto the base of the unit but it helps keep it clean and reduces water getting on the bench.
I printed this in Prusament Silver PLA with a .2mm layer hight and a .4mm nozzel with standard settings on a MK3. Best Printed on its back for extra strength for the brush stand as well as a nice smoth look on the front. I used tree supports to aid with stability as the areas supported wont be seen from the front of the part.
