I wanted a non-destructive way to attach two MatterHackers 1KG spool together after finding inconsistencies with the inner structure of various spent spools I've accumulated over the years. I want to be clear, this is ridiculous for the task but…is fun.
Please add supports for the coupler brackets, the object already includes a cast-aside platform to land the overhead-arch's support. You'll need two brackets per coupling as well.
…and do be careful installing, the inner structure of the spools are unfinished with very sharp edges.
BTW, the hex hole is M8 and the coupler thread is M30 3.5 pitch.
