This ring is a full remake of the Crochet Ring originally uploaded by @Milan.  After using the original for a short while, my wife asked for a few changes.  Specifically, she requested (1) a taller guide rail at the base of the ring and (2) an extension to the top of the ring to prevent yarn from riding across her finger as it exits the ring's hook.

With some yarns, she also found that the yarn would catch, albeit slightly, on the nub that guides the yarn into the hook in @Milan's original design.  So, I set out to redesign the nub to get a nice smooth surface for the yarn to glide across.  Instead of continuing to alter @Milan's design, I created a new parameterized version of their design.  This new design is split into two pieces so that the bottom of the nub sits directly on the print bed when printing.  This ensures a nice smooth surface on the bottom side of the nub.

Size:
Just like Milan, I provided models with inner circumferences from 40 mm to 65 mm.  If there are other sizes that you'd like, you can use the parameterized Fusion 360 file that I've included.  Just change the ring_size parameter to your desired circumference.

Print:
No support needed if printing with the included .3mf files.  After printing, you can use a small amount of super glue to combine the two halves into a single ring.  If you have trouble fitting the pieces together, there is a tolerance_clearance_gap parameter in the Fusion 360 file to either loosen or tighten the fit.

I have successfully printed this design with a variety of layer heights from 0.30 mm to 0.05 mm using a 0.4 mm nozzle.

I did a quick sanding of the inside of the ring with some 400 grit sandpaper after printing.  This makes a nice smooth comfortable fit.

Material:
I printed using Hatchbox PLA.  I'm sure other filaments will also work great.
