This is another Planetary Explorer Module, suitable for holding 3.75 inch / 1:18 scale action figures. These parts are for the interior of a space station or larger spacecraft. Still working on more items, but so far have crew quarters, some corridors, control panels, engine room, scientific laboratory room, and some roofs with different structures on them. I will be adding more over time, so check back!
The different parts plug in to each other, allowing for many different possible combinations. Does not require any glue, screws or tools to assemble. Many modules from previous ships will also connect to these new ones.
If you need some vintage figures to add to the scene, there are some here: https://www.ebay.com/str/petesactionfigures Or you can print yourself some figures from other designs of mine here on thingiverse such as https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4944977!
The parts use the "pla snap connector e" that I have also posted separately here to thingiverse. You can also design your own modules that plug in to these, if you use the connector, they will connect! Please let me know, I would love to see them if you make some!
For more designs that I haven't gotten a chance to put on here yet, see https://petrusmono.com/pems
I may print a few of these and put them up for sale on ebay - https://www.ebay.com/str/petesactionfigures
Enjoy!

Printer Brand:
Prusa
Printer:
I3 MK3S
Supports:
Doesn't Matter
Infill:
15%
Filament: Hatchbox PLA blue
Notes:
Most of the rooms print without supports, would print the roofs upside-down to as to not require supports. The dome should print right-side up, I think I printed the space lattice at a 90 degree angle.
Assembly
Modules snap into each other with some steady pressure. An adult should be able to do it by hand. May help to print one of the PLA snap connectors (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4944927) and insert and remove a connector 1 time into all the holes.
The snap connections are not meant to be permanent, they can be connected and disconnected over and over again. Over time the connections will be less tight, at some point may want to spray with something to tighten them up again. How I Designed This
Used Tinkercad.
