The .stl files for this model include both sides 1 & 2 for the hinge assembly used on the Tuft & Needle mattress box spring. These serve as a replacement to the original hinges. I made these for a friend of mine so I'm not sure if fastener holes line up perfectly, but they should be pretty close. Use these hinges instead of buying a new box spring kit and save yourself up to $500! (box spring replacements are pricey…)
I printed these in ABS, but they could be printed in PLA and PETG. I doubt they take any real load, but I figured I would be safe and print in ABS. The original hinges my friend gave me to model had broken so some load went through them… I just used the default temp and extrusion settings for ABS in the Prusa Slicer and 0.35mm layer height. I utilized snug supports for the peg holes just so they would more or less maintain roundness. I also bumped up the infilI pretty high (like maybe 80%?) as a precaution because once again, I wasn't sure if they were going to take any real load. Infill modifiers were also used at the fastener holes locations so those locations could be printed solid (100% infill). I printed them with their number markings facing down on the print bed.
