Unitak3D sells a two bracket system to convert the Ender 3 printers from Bowden to Direct Drive. The top bracket has two positions either for single or dual gear extruders. When I changed the cooling system using Hero Me G7 I found that neither one of those positions would allow the extruder to line up with the hot end. So I replicated the top bracket but added several improvements. The first improvement was a channel instead of holes for mounting. This allows greater adjustment range for the positioning of the extruder. The second improvement is that the extruder motor is now stabilized since it sits on a more continuous platform rather than sitting on the screw heads or only being supported by the motor mounts. The third improvement is that I added a wall so that the cabling doesn't touch the motor. The fourth improvement is that I added a cable tie point.
