RGB Desk Lamp
Each lamp takes about 2-3 days to make depending on which lamp shade you print (the hex ones take alot longer than the fuzzy skin ones). They are about 210mm high and have a diameter of about 140mm.
- Super easy to design and build (no soldering or programing needed).
- Uses exactly 5 meters of light strip which is good as this kind cant be cut.
- Super fun to look at!
- Govee has a Bluetooth app so you can create your own light fuctions as well as select some nice defaults.
- The Govee lights have a built in microphone that allows the lights to respond to music.
Sliced using Prusa Slicer and Cura (Cura was used to slice the plain lamp shade with a fuzzy skin finish)
The lamp shade was sliced with 2 perimeter walls and a 5% infill, but you can play around with this as you want.
Prusament fillament was used, jet black PLA for the Lamp Core and Lamp Base. The rest usses clear transperent PETG.
5 meter Govee RGBIC light strips were used (Note these cant be cut, the lamp as is uses all 5 meters) - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B092H25SCM/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_CPH0SX1W28XSVWYEC699?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
