This is a remix of the original SQFMI Watchy Invader Case.

Modifications were mainly made to fit the Watchy V2 sold on AliExpress.

A centralized hub of information about the AliExpress Watchy ("E-Watch-FOSS") can be found on the E-Watch-Foss page by Szybet.

Bottom Casing Info

There are three different versions of the bottom casing.

  1. bottom_case.stl

This is a deep case. I only recommend this one if you have a large custom battery or something that you want to fit inside.

  2. bottom_case_slim.stl (less than 1cm thick!)

This one is slim - but still fits the "E-Watch-FOSS" double decker PCB. The difference is only 2mm in depth between this one and bottom_case.stl.

If you want the original screws to fit - you will have to use this slim bottom case. The slim one is the one I use now, and what I recommend.

  3. bottom_case_slim_curved.stl

Curved version for the watchband mounting holes. Might be harder to print than the flat version, but it might also fit smaller wrists better.

I personally have not printed this one yet. Please post a make if you print it!

Printing Recommendations

I recommend scaling the button size down to 90% in your slicer (I have left the .stl file full-sized), as mine did not fit in my 3d printed remix invader case when the buttons were full size. Your milage may vary (especially if you have a resin printer - I do not). If you manage to fit the buttons in full-sized you will probably get less button-rattling.

I found that the buttons turned out really good only if I printed them individually (one at a time). This means that the nozzle always stays on the button, and there are no imperfections. Only takes like a minute each. That's four whole minutes of 3d printer entertainment right there.

I used an external brim to print the top and bottom cases, because I did not want any warping. Probably use a medium-level layer height.
