I created this cover for the aquarium to prevent water from evaporating into the living space.

The model is optimized for printing on Ender 3. It is therefore made of two halves that need to be glued/welded. An additional contact surface is used for this connection. Supports recomended. I printed it in stand position.

Aquarium size is 200x300 but maybe you can scale it up

The cover was intended as a design top. in fact, the aquarium was swayed by a plate made of plexiglass, which prevented moisture from entering between the plexiglass and the cover, where you can install led tapes and the like.
for feeding without the need to dismantle the cover, a "tunnel" is run through this intermediate space. It is therefore necessary to cut a hole in the plexiglass.
In the back part of the cover there is an opening for placing a simple overflow filter. It is the smallest type that I got at the time. Unfortunately, I did not model the cover for the gap for this opening. maybe I'll get to it in time..

My cover is already broken. I made it years ago and the pla has degraded over time outside. Now it's just rotting in the trash. But I had the aquarium for 2 years and everything was fine during this time.

But PETG could be better.

There are stl files for printing and some root files but .ipt. I created this model years ago at school in AutoCad Invertor and now i can't convert them to 3mf or other. If you want, you can try it
