This is a simple but pleasant door system for the UM3E printer, where the hinges are installed using existing screw-holes. The hinges are held together using a M3 screw and standard nut, which allows to control how much force needs to be used to open/close the door.
The door also remains closed using two 10x6x2 magnets (since i had some spares from another printer).
The files include a STEP file of the 2mm acrylic panel which was designed to follow the same curved corners to match the printer.
The door handle is glued to the acrylic, and the door stopper is attached to the inside of the printer using double-sided tape.
This model was created using the official STEP files from Ultimaker (Github repo) using OnShape (link)
