This is a buckle guard for securing a patient in a gurney, the dimensions should work for Stryker three point buckles as well as their regular buckles.

The design is in OpenSCAD, and can be customized for other buckles. This design enables anyone with a key to open the buckle, but it cannot be opened with just a finger.

Printed in PETG or nylon is recommended. Nylon is harder to print, but is more durable. PLA and ABS are less appropriate since they form sharper edges if broken. The key is intended to be put on a key chain. A car or any other key can be used to open the buckle, but may cause scratches.

Layers and infill depend on how strong it needs to be. A starting point is 5 walls and 40% gyroid infill. There are two bumps on the same side of the buckle guard that faces the buckle release button. The lower one does not need support, but the slicer may recommend it. Use a support blocker if needed. Support from bed plate is needed.

This was printed on a Prusa mk3 S+ in PETG and Voron Trident in nylon.
