This is a grow light support designed to clip onto the wooden rods of common plant stands that can be found online (the rods are 15.5mm wide).

I recently purchased a “three-leaf” grow light bulb that came with a loose socket and wire, but no support system; presumably they are intended to be hung from some sort of hook. To have it hanging above my plant shelves, I needed to design customized supports. They won't win any design awards, but they work well enough!

The supports reuse the same clip design as my previous models, combined with a long bridge arm and a center support ring. The ring fits snugly around the bottom rim of the socket, and the bulb can then be screwed in. The bridges are angled at 60° to lift the socket high enough that the bulb will not bump into the shelves.

If you're concerned about heat, the bulb only draws 35W and most of the heat radiates from the top of the “leaves”; the central part which is near the ring barely gets warm even after hours.
