Description

Carbide3D delivers an awesome collection of workholding clamps in their Get-A-Grip kit, but they come in a bag in a cardboard box. Since we're living the Gridfinity life now, let's get them neatly tucked into bins and ready for use!

Print Settings

The assembly in the pictures was printed at the following settings:

  • Printer: Prusa i3 MK3.5
  • Print Settings
    • 0.4mm nozzle
    • 0.2mm layer height
    • 2 shells sides
    • 4 shells top and bottom
    • 15% infill
  • Filament: various PolyTerra matte pastel PLA's
  • Supports: none
  • Brim: none

Print Instructions

  1. No supports required, no brim needed. The magnet cutouts have been stepped to print without any supports required.
  2. You will also need to grab a few other bins for the M6 bolts:
    1. Two (2) 1x1x6 Bins with Label shelves
    2. One (1) 1x2x3 Bin with Label shelf

Assembly Instructions

  1. These customized Gridfinity bins are designed to hold the exact number of Get-a-Grip clamps that are shipped in a standard set. If you buy 2 sets, print 2 sets of bins.
  2. I'd recommend you install 6x2mm magnets in the base of the bins + baseplate as you'll want to be lifting the bins off their plate to shake out T-nuts, etc.
  3. Enjoy having all your clamps visible and close-at-hand!
