A NAS and a switch tend to illuminate my bedroom due to unfortunate (but unchangeable) placement. I made a very slim RJ45 LED plug cover, which slides on easily and does not come off on its own when unplugging cables. Works also with several adjacent ports (see pictures).
The base model is 1mm in height. You need to scale that (in your slicer) to whatever is applicable to you. I had success with 3.5mm in height, but depending on your device your milage may vary. So I put a 3.5mm derivative in here as well.
Print settings:
Prusa MK3
0.2mm layer height
5 shells (infill does not matter)
PLA (ideally black obviously)
all extrusion widths set to 0.5mm
