Description:
When converting my K1 printer, I wanted to mount the filament roll holder on the right-hand side. This was too cumbersome for me, so I designed this simple roll holder. The good thing about it is that I can still use the original Creality spool holder as it fits exactly into the adapter hole. This means that all the other adapters for the different spool sizes can still be used.
Print:
Filament: ABS / PETG
Layer height: 0.25 (0.4 nozzle)
Wall: 5
Top/Bottom layers: 4
Filling: 30% (Triangles)
Support: Yes, only inside the adapter hole at the little knobs (Tree).
Assembly:
After printing, please remove the small supports under the small buttons in the adapter hole. The Creality spool holder can then be fully inserted into the adapter hole and locked in place by turning it to the right. It may be a little difficult the first time as the fit is quite tight. If it is too difficult, please grind out and deburr the adapter hole with fine sandpaper. In my case, it fitted twice immediately with ABS.
