These are simple wall mountable holders for 1kg spools and spool boxes, to mount them up and out of the way. I use Polymaker mostly so those boxes fit, others may as well. I used these Adhesive Wall Mounts so the design is specific to those. They stick extremely well on smooth surfaces and are low-cost. Pay attention to the alignment of the adhesive pad. Check the back of the print and you will see that alignment tang on the pad needs to be pointed upward.
Each uses approximately 100g of filament as is. With adhesive pads, the cost is just under $3 per shelf, mounted, assuming you use Polymaker PETG @$22/kg.
The two bottom struts are located so that a bare Polymaker spool sits nicely in them. Dry bags or boxes will fit slightly differently, but no less securely.
I print two at a time, with modified 0.30 DRAFT settings on a Prusa MK3S+. I lowered the bed temp 5'C in this project file so adjust accordingly if you wish. I have printed these on third-party smooth PEI sheets and textured sheets. Both work well.
