to wire a lab power supply or a set of AA's into something requiring a CR2032.
https://www.printables.com/model/725567-fake-cr2032-battery is perhaps nicer, but requires other parts. So I quickly made this in OpenScad to just use bare coper wire for the contacts. It needs just the printed part and 2 bits of wire, about half a mm diameter // 24 awg-ish. It is a quick and dirty hack.
Make sure there is a bit of wire insulation left where the ‘bottom contact’ wire comes out the side. Stick a wire trough then twist uninsulated part together.
For the side/top + contact, wrap a wire around, twist until tight, and wrap the twisted bit over the top.
Perhaps it is best to use single stranded wire and not multi stranded as I did, since a loose strand might short.
