This is a word game with ten 8-sided dice with concept not unlike Scrabble but completely independent of it. Each numbered die has 8 random letters on it so that when the dice are thrown down, they give ten random letters. The rules are flexible and can be age related. For example one could give a point for each letter in a long word, points for longest word in a round, a point for each word in a phrase (younger players?) etc.
The letters of the alphabet are assigned to the dice at random. However the total number of each letter in the ten dice is calculated according to the published frequency of letters in the English language. There are a few blanks thrown in to give 80 for the ten dice.
The dice are numbered so it is easy to notice a missing one and reprint it.

Experiment with colour. I found that the letters were easier to see at a glance with black but you decide. Or mix them. Rainbow colour works really well.
This game could be modified to suit another language by using the frequency of letters in that language together with the appropriate letter font. This would have to be done within the OpenSCAD design used, together with the Excel tools programmed for the purpose.
