I always had a mess of cables, I searched for a solution, but was unable to find something without screws, so I designed this simple cable holder.
It has multiple uses:
- attach under your desk to guide cables
- attach to side of desk, to prevent cables to slip down and keep them in position
- group dangling cables together to make them look nicer and stuck together
I used Velcro tape from Amazon to attach them to the side and underside of my desk.
I'm still able to remove them if needed, both just temporarily, or by removing the Velcro tape. This was a big requirement for me.
Simply print both parts, later, you can simply clip them together. If the tolerance is too low for your printer, try scaling up the clip part that goes on top.
Printing is fairly easy, I have no trouble printing both elements standing up, however if you do not have the best adhesion, you can print them on their back. You might need minimal supports in that case; however, I did not need any.
