I glued the ventilation grid parts together, but that is probably not necessary. The fasteners for the frame uses the predrilled shelf attachment holes in the IKEA cabinet.
I've added double 1 cm x 2mm magnets to the fasteners and the grid so that it is easy to remove yet sticks solidly to the cabinet.
