The goal of this design is to utilize my spare creality k1 extruder to my other 3d printer (specifically my CR-10 V2) and gain learning experience making 3D designs

I have provided my step file in hopes of other people adapting it into their other 3d printer machines

This build utilizes the following components

  • Creality K1 Adapted Moons Extruder
  • 4020 Blower fan
    • M3 x 20mm x 7
  • 40x40 Fan
    • M3 x 10 MM x 2
  • V6 Hotend (I used a clone)
  • BLTouch (optional)
    • M3 x 8mm x 2
    • M3 x 4mm x 2
    • M3 Nut x2
    • 30mm X axis offset from nozzle
  • PTFE tube for V6 and the extruder
  • M3 x 8mm (4.8mm OD) heat inserts x 7
  • Hotend Part 1 mounts to the CR-10 v2/v3 carriage
    • M3 x 12mm x 3
  • Hotend Part 2 mounts the V6 together
    • The middle two connectors
    • M3 x 6mm x 2

Print settings:

  • Filament ABS
  • 3 Walls
  • 30% infill

Thanks to @Bear and their CR-10 V2/V3 X-Axis Carriage I was able to use accurate mounting holes for the X carriage. Also thanks to @Henlor and @Rolls17, my design would have been painful and demotivating without their step files of the extruder.
