EDIT: I can now confirm that it works well. The picture with the roots was taken 7 days after I put the basil into the Super Cloner. This was done with just plain tapwater, so one could expect more/earlier rooting with rooting-gel. I'm very happy that this actually works! 😁👍

You can buy a cheap USB aquarium bubbler (e.g. get something like this from Amazon: https://amzn.eu/d/hRj7rgi I'm not selling this, nor am I in any way affilitated with the company) and use it in the water tank to create bubbles. The bubbles burst when surfacing and moisten the plants branches/roots. This encourages the cuttings to make roots without drowning them. The dome keeps the air humidity high.
Hints:
- The dome should be printed flipped over in vase mode. I used Ideamaker to introduce a surface texture so the dome doesn't bend too much.
- Use transparent PLA for the dome (obviously).
- I use “support” as a means to create a grid on top of the lid, this is why I uploaded the .3mf.
Yes, this was designed in Tinkercad. 😊 I'm not skilled in other CAD applications unfortunately.
