This specialized ruler takes the guesswork out of identifying your Gridfinity bins. It is designed to measure both the standard unit width and the specific incremental height of the Gridfinity system.
Vertical Height Gauge: 17 increments of 7mm each. It includes a 3.8mm offset at the base to account for the standard Gridfinity bin floor/lip, ensuring your measurement matches the "U" height (e.g., 3U, 6U).
Horizontal Width Gauge: 3 units of 42mm each to identify if a bin is 1x1, 1x2, or 1x3.
Filament Swap: To get a contrasting top layer, add a "Color Change" or "Pause" command in your slicer at the very last layer. Depending on the printer, the swap will either be completed automatically or the printer will stop printing to allow you to complete the color change.
