Make your beyerdynamic headphones wireless with a FiiO BTR5. This should work on most beyerdynamic headphones, tested by me on the DT770 and DT990, but would most likely work on other beyerdynamic headphones with aluminum yokes.
By placing the BTR5 inside the headphones, it does not protrude outwards like https://www.printables.com/model/571179-dt-770880990-fiio-btr5-clip
You will want to use this on headphones modded to have a detachable cable. 3 or 4 pin mini xlr, 3.5mm aux, etc will work. I am using 4 pin mini xlr out of the SE output of the BTR5. Having a right angle cable is also nice to make the cable lower profile.
Use 2 m3x8 screws to attach the lock to the case around the yoke.
The volume buttons can be pressed without taking out the btr5, but the + volume is a bit hard. Also you can't see the screen but you don't really need that most of the time and it's easy enough to just take out the btr5
