WORK IN PROGRESS!
I made another fly box that is bigger than the other one I uploaded. This is cheaper and lighter as well! There are 3 compartments including 1 large compartment for your large game changer flies or whatever else. This fly box is heavily inspired by two other fly boxes. They are the Ikari Zenit and the Ultimate Light Weight Bamboo Fly Box by Revus Designs on Etsy. Additionally. the line holder is inspired by the line holder from Tenkara Rod Co. I highly recommend that everyone goes and checks them out if you haven't already!
Hardware Required:
10 5x2 magnets
1 M3x8 Screw
1 M3 heat set insert
6mm craft foam sheet in black or white.
You need to put the insert into the bottom of the base and screw the line holder into the base.
Also, cut a long piece of foam to go on the inside of the line holder. I think I did about 8mm width strips. Cut the foam to size to ensure the foam is completely in the line holder. You can then remove the foam form the line holder and use super glue to glue to foam into the line holder for a secure fit. Depending on your printer's tolerances, you might need to apply glue to the magnets but I did not need to.
I also added 2 magnets to the bottom of the line holder for a method to attach the fly box/line holder to your rod. This attachment is still being designed. I will update when it is finished.
