Similar to many commercial options, this model is a set of parts which are attached to the corner of an obstruction, be it a shed, a post or a building. The guide allows the hose to be run through it and has some play to prevent the hose chaffing on the corner.
BOM:
- 8x brass panhead m4 bolts 10mm
- 2x m4 stainless steel bolts 20mm
- 4x m4 stainless steel nuts
- 8x m4 stainless steel washers
- 2x m4 stainless steel bolts 30-40mm
- up to 6 m4 fasteners to attach to your obstruction (not detailed here).
Recommended print settings:
- 3-4 walls
- 10-15% infill
- tree supports on the mount
- auto align the rollers
Construction:
- Slot in 2 brass bolts per roller, space the bolt heads out from the roller body, wide enough to sit into the slots in the roller holder.
- Repeat the slotting in process for all the rollers
- Place the 2nd half of the roller holder over the top and bolt two 20mms, washers and nut to secure the two holder halves together - choose 2 bolt holes next to each other.
- Slot on the mounts over the two empty bolt holes on the roller holder assembly.
- Thread the longer 30-40mm bolts through the mounts and holder assembly with washers, tighten it all down with the nuts
- locate against your obstruction and use the mounting holes to secure it with whatever fixing you're using.
- thread your hose through the center hole.
