Two simple orchid pots desingned to be printed in vase mode

ø: 12cm

height: 12cm

Best with a big nozzle, at least a .8mm I would say, for good solidity

preferably in a translucent / transparent material for orchid roots light exposure

With a layer height big enough it prints in no time and the transparency seems better.

The blocky design already provides holes for aeration and drainage.

You may add some holes on the bottom with a soldering iron or a drill.

And even more on the side of the smooth one if you like.

Resolution:

1mm nozzle; .8mm layer height

Notes:

Designed to be printed in vase mode, or print with no infill no top layer and play with shell thickness.

Watch out for bottom thickness, set it around your shell / extrusion width value,

2 or 3 layers are enough.

And check if your slicer tries to close the top.

Post-Printing

Make more holes for drainage and aeration, using a drill or a soldering iron (in a ventilated area, or/with an adapted respirator mask)
