Donald Linsay designed a mini bagpipe chanter in high G, and I wanted to print it as a practice chanter so I took the top file from Kadaku's practice chanter and resized it to fit, and I also took the printable reed parts to make my design fully working and printable.

In the video I posted, I am playing my first prototype so it might not sound the best, I will reprint the reed and post a new video once it sounds better.

Print Settings

Materials:

All parts PLA EXCEPT FOR:

reed_seal

reed_sleeve

(In the pictures I posted these are the black parts)

(IMPORTANT: these 2 need to be in TPU)

Perimeters:

2 perimeters

SIZES (IMPORTANT):

print the reed_sleeve at 107 scale

print the reed_seal at 115 scale

the rest are already scaled correctly

Post-Printing

Might need to wrap a layer of duct tape around the reed seal and around the top of the body of the chanter to get an airtight seal.

Might have to sand the tops of the reed lips as well to make the chanter easier to play.

After putting together the reed, gently bend the reed as shown in the picture and crease it to increase the size of the opening.
