The handle of my Sunbeam Hot Shot broke at the little hooks. This replacement handle doesn't use the flimsy little hooks but instead uses bolts. It's fastened with two M5 x 15 flat head bolts and with M5 nuts from underneath (see photo). The printed part can serve as a guide for drilling two 5mm holes in the part that it attaches to. I recommend putting loctite on the threads of the M5 bolts because you can't tighten too hard on plastic. Disassembling and reassembling the Hot Shot to install this handle isn't easy but you should be able to pull it off if you're careful and good at these things.
I printed this solid out of PC Blend with a brim and support at the little overhung mounting faces. This part feels a lot more solid than the original handle.
