This is a storage case for E3D V6 nozzles, with space for 10 nozzles and with markings for each size. Note: the 0.40 mm nozzle that ships with the MINI could be without any markings, the same as the E3D 0.25 nozzle
The top and bottom snap closed. If you find the snapping action to be too strong or too weak, you can edit the latch shape in FreeCAD, changing the outside radius will increase part thickness in that area. Be sure to open it from towards either end instead of the middle, otherwise the latch can break.
Print one bottom and one cover, I printed it in Galaxy Silver to complement the brass and give it a metallic appearance. Has to be printed with good layer adhesion.
The threads were a bit tight when I printed it, but they freed up after threading in a nozzle the first time. A socket wrench would be best for installing them. If the threads are too tight then a tap can help clean them up. Alternatively, open the .fcstd model of the bottom part, navigate to the only "Hole" feature, and change the thread tolerance to something looser such as 7H or 8H, or add a clearance value. Take care when making this edit because recomputing the modeled threads takes a while.
The model uses osifont for the lettering. Designed in FreeCAD, model available in files.
