This cutting plate is based on similar waffle cutting boards on the market. You will be limited based on the size you are able to print due to your printer. The squares likely are not conforming to the add-on gadgets that other plates may offer. However, if you only use this plate for cutting, watering plants, etc… It should be more than sufficient!
I printed in PETG. This is only 7.5" x 7.5" and if you print the version with the interconnects to combine multiple, you may need to scale it down (98% for my MK3S) depending on what printer you have. Make sure you keep the scaling consistent on the ones you plan on connecting together!
The connector version has floating tabs so that the connecting cells still maintained a base for stability while still being able to catch debris. For that reason, I printed that version with supports under the tabs. I supplied my .3mf files as a reference.
