This is a simple adapter for the PETamentor2, which enables you to use a 9mm utility knife blade to cut bottles if you don't have the ability to sharpen the edges of the two bearings used in the original design by Matthieu SAMSON.
For this design, you need the following hardware:
- 9mm utility knife blade
- 2x M8 nuts
- 2x M8 washers
- 2x M8x40 screws
- 5x wood screws, diameter 4mm, length 15mm
- 4x M3x10 screws
- 1x M8x50 screw with an 8mm notch
- 1x M8 nut
- 3x M3x10 screws
- 3x M3 nuts
- 1x Original PETamentor cutter motor
The adapter is simply pushed onto the two 40mm screws and is secured by the two M8 nuts.
Print without support and simply slide the blade under the two holding arms. Make sure that the blade is also secured by the two washers on either side.
