Tired of cutting yourself on your chisel when you dig for something in your toolbag? Or sick of finding out that the chisel you just sharpened has been dinged by another tool in the drawer? Fear no more, these guards are easy to print, and the built in spring ensures that they stay put on the chisel, even if the chisel thickness varies.
I've pre-generated many stl files for various chisel widths. Each width is also available in three thicknesses, 3, 4 and 5mm. I.e. if your chisel is 20.5mm wide and 3.5mm thick, pick the 21x4mm stl file. The scad file is also availabel if you have specific needs.
Print the stl files as generated, i.e. standing on the back with the chisel opening to the top. I printed mine in PETG with 0.2mm layer height and 0.4mm nozzle.
