I am mounting a Rubbermaid Action packer in the bed of my Polaris RZR.  It sits under a hinged spare tire carrier and in front of a soft cooler, so access to it will be limited.  I needed to put the lid on hinges and come up with a method to easily secure the lid without getting to the big latches on the side.

These hinges and strap were my solution

I printed everything in PETG, 3 walls, 30% infill triangles.  I painted some support on the rounded areas of the hinge pivots of the lower(bottom hinge) part supports.  The .3mf file has these supports painted on already.

The upper hinge parts (attach to lid) print well if you lay them on the 45 degree face as shown.

The hinge mounts and strap hook all use ¼" bolts.  the hinges pivot on 6mm bolts.  Sorry, but I started making these for metric hardware then switched to Imperial because my 6mm stock is lacking, but I had the 6mm for the pivots, so I left those alone.

The strap hook is not threaded, but it will cut threads as you screw it on and once on, it is very secure.  It screws onto the ¼" bolt by hand fairly easily.

The strap itself is from Amazon.  https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09WQLPT6Q?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
