About
An attachment that holds Loop Mute rubber inserts, compatible with original Loop Earplugs case.
I have always wanted a way of carrying the Mute rubber inserts to further reduce noise when needed, so I designed this attachment that fits in the lid of the Loops Earplugs case.
My Print Settings
- Material: PLA
- Infill: 20% (don't think it matters because it's so thin)
- Supports: Tree
- Orientation: flat surfaces of the cylinders facing the print bed
Installation
- Insert the bottom prong of the Y-shaped attachment into the two slots at the hinge of the Loop Earplugs case.
- Press the two upper prongs of the Y into the case. You should hear a small snap, indicating it has slotted under the case's lip.
- Note: The attachment should flex slightly, ensuring a snug fit due to tension and compression.
Removal
- Ensure the Loop Mutes are removed from the attachment.
- Slide out one of the upper prongs by pushing the top of the Y to the side until it releases.
- While holding the released prong, slide the other prong in the opposite direction until it releases.
