Hard case for ZSA Voyager.
Printing
- Print with 0.16 layer
- 15% Infill Lightning
- Iron all top surfaces
- Inner/Outer/Inner
Support is only needed for the cover. Print with tree support.
PLA-CF is recommended as it gives a nice texture and remove the layer lines.
Assembly
- The keyboard's height is 16mm while the inner container's height is 20mm.
- You can fit a 2mm magnetic sheet so the keyboard doesn't move (recommended).
- 1mm magnetic sheet is not strong enough to hold the keyboard.
- You can also fit 1mm layer of foam if you want (although I don't think it is necessary, but the extra gap is there if you need it).
- The placeholder for the steel bar with legs serves as a lock for the case so everything stays in place and also shows off the Voyager branding.
Size and weight
- Total weight for the 3D printed case: 225g (printed with Bambu Lab's PLA-CF burgundy red).
- The size is 165.6mm x 165.6mm x 45mm
- The case is designed with travel in mind, so everything is kept to minimal to reduce weight and size.
