It holds two fans and directs the air where they need to go, well, in the general direction they need to go.
Doesn't compare to the pinpoint accuracy of some other fan ducts, doesn't support ABL, doesn't allow you to remove the silicone sock without disassembly. But it's ⅓ the weight of my previous Bullseye duct, coming in at only ~14g so that's something…
Can be printed without supports, but there are some extreme 80 degree overhangs and about 6mm wide horizontal bridges, don't attempt unless your printer already has amazing cooling, in which case why do you need this duct?
Print with the most heat resistant material you have as it's really close to the silicone sock. Go for at least 3 walls so the really steep surfaces don't open up
Requires:
2x M3 x 5 flat-head bolts for mounting to the carriage
2x M2.5 (M2? whatever the stock size is) x 16 bolts for the part cooling fan
4x M3 x 10 button-head bolts for the heatsink fan
1x zip-tie to secure the cables so they don't get fatigued from constant X-axis movement
