I wanted to make a locking pin mechanism, but it was hard to see what went wrong inside, so I ended up making this test cube, then as I refined the test cube I ended up using it for test printing, since it was fast to print and I could easily see stringing, gaps etc. I ended up getting a good print, but in the end it was too unreliable for my cheap printer to use this mechanism in the part i intended, the tolerance is too tight for my cheap printer and I would only make a working small cube every 5th print or so.
but i scaled one up to 200% to test on my 8mm nozzle and that worked like a charm, no issues on any print.
