My cat loves to use my AC unit as a stepping stone, often times turning it on or changing the set temperature. One time he even changed the unit from Fahrenheit to Celsius.
This is a cover for the AC unit, only allowing people with long fingers to press the buttons.
I used PU gel tape (my favorite) to mount this to the AC unit.
