This is a secure clip which will allow you to join two ribbon cables together, or - like I have - reduce the slack.

As shown, I have my printer on my desk, and in the normal position or when printing, the ribbon cable sits low and out onto my mouse pad. Not ideal if you don't have a wireless mouse.
I wanted a way to hold the cable up after it exits the printer, so I decided bending the cable and clipping it together would do the trick. Behold!
The specific dimensions were gathered from my Ender3 S1. The clips will fit any ribbon cable with:
- 30mm Width
- 3mm Thickness
No build instructions really needed for this one, very simply print as you like.
I would only recommend you ensure your setup is printing to a reasonable level of dimensional accuracy so you are not bending the cable in on itself or the cable being too lose and the clips sliding off… Also, I would suggest not to use TPU as the clips will likely not be strong enough to combat the cable pushing itself back flat. However, I haven't tried it, so be my guest - give it a go.
