For files with prefix P (pink), 4 walls, 20% infill; prefix G (green), 6 walls, 25% infill; GG (green), 6 walls, 40% infill.

Muzzle and MuzzleNut will require support while printing (Touching Buildplate), rest of the prints don't.

Plunger head is the same as in SLAB; Mag release is the same as in Chimera mk7 by NED.

NOTE: the slots for the U-channels in my prints have tight tolerance and may be too tight for you depending on the exact dimensions of your U-channels.  The magwell should not wiggle up/down because that may lead to the barrel bumping in the mag while return prime.  I recommend printing the muzzle first and test the fitting of your U-channel and, if needed, make adjustments on the magwell accordingly.  A light coat of grease on the outer walls that come in contact with the magwell can also be helpful.

Countersunk screws: (I'd recommend getting a set of M3 and M4 screws)

  1. M3 x 6 mm: 1
  2. M3 x 8 mm: 13
  3. M3 x 10 mm: 5
  4. M3 x 50 mm: 1 + 1 M3 nut
  5. M4 x 10 mm: 8 + 8 M4 hex nuts
  6. M4 x 15 mm: 1
  7. M4 x 40 mm: 2
  8. 4-40: 2

I also used 5 x M3 (4.2 mm OD, 5 mm L) heat set brass inserts.  Two go in the sealing boss, two in the Springtube, and one in the End cap.  Not necessary but I like to use them where I can.

Flat bar (0.5" W, 0.125" H): 12.5" L, and 4.125" L (foregrip/magwell reinforcement)
U channel McMaster 9001K729: 19.25" L (length depends on how far back you want the stock to be)

Barrel: 280 mm (I used Swift's but any 13 mm ID, 16 mm OD barrel will do)
Main spring (SilverFox): 5.5" L x 1.2" OD

Plunger tube McMaster 8585K207: 3.875" L

Small pin McMaster 98381A441: 2
Catch spring McMaster 9657K644: 1
Trigger bar spring: 1" L, 0.18" OD (ball point pen spring will do or Menards 2335012)
Extension spring: 8 mm (Menards 2335012)
Piece of elastic: 2" long, ~0.1" OD

McMaster washer 9452K87: 3

016 O-ring (McMaster 9452K6): 1
012 O-ring: 1 (ram washers from other blasters will work, to be used in hypha's sealing boss/ram)

Change log 31Aug2024

  • Uploaded files in their print orientation.
  • Uploaded a new trigger setup (G-TriggerAssembly-31Aug2024).  This needs a M3x50 mm screw and a M3 nut.  Since the screw is along the length of the bar, there is little chance of holes getting stripped like before.
  • The new trigger works the same as in the previous version, but its incorporation in the blaster is slightly different and not the way shown in the Build Guide.

Change log 29Aug2024

  • After some use, I found that the screws connecting the trigger and the trigger bar can become loose leading to poor trigger response.  Retightening may not work as the holes in the trigger bar can get stripped.  Using two M3 heat set inserts in the trigger bar is an option.  I am working on a design update of the trigger system and will upload soon.
