Printing
- Open the Freecad file and change the “circle_inner_diameter” in the Spreadsheet according to the head size of the candidate.
- Change the “cap_size" according to the ego of the candidate (or the size of your print bed).
- Export brim and cap separately (preferably in step format)
- The included step and stl files should fit someone with average to small head size
- Print the brim in flexible filament (e.g. TPU 95A)
- Print the cap with normal filament (preferably PETG)
- Screw in the M2 bolts into the holes in the brim, be careful not to screw too far
- Cut away the head of the bolts
- Insert the heat inset in the center hole
- Press the cap with the holes into the ends of the bolts, it should be strong enough without glue
- There is a cap test object, where you can test if everything fits
- Decorate according to the candidates subject!
