This is a cap specifically designed for the Vargo Dig Dig Titanium trowel.
This trowel (as is the case with most titanium backpacking trowels) can be a bit rough on your palms, especially when digging hard or rocky ground. This cap slips over the top and protects your hands from the sharp(ish) corners of the trowel.
Best printed in TPU, as a little flex helps the cap seat fully onto the trowel. Other materials also work, though.
