This funnel holds 20-30 loaded cartridges and when shaken lets the heavy pointy ends poke out of a slot at the bottom. You then remove your finger from a slot at the side, and can slip all the neatly aligned cartridges into an ammunition box without having to stick your hand into a box of jumbled up cartridges covered in lead dust. This designs are for five rimmed cartridges, models supplied for .357 Magnum or .38 calibre, and .44-40 but parametric source code is provided for any other rimmed cartridge type. If that doesn't cover your preferred ammo or storage box, let me know and I'll try to customise it.

Use

Hold with one finger covering the exit slot at the side. Tip a bunch of loaded ammo in the hopper - don't fill more than half way. Shake back and forth and jiggle (the funnel, not you) until the rounds drop down into a nice row at the bottom. Put the lined up cartridges half way into the storage box, remove finger, and slide the funnel off sideways. Jiggle and repeat.

Printing

Can be printed in any rigid plastic without support, I use standard Prusa PLA. Best printed wide end down on the print bed. Print with a brim if 90 degree corners lift on your printer or you print with solid walls (large, solid prints tend to shrink on cooling and pop off).
