2.5D: 2D logo with additional height for some layers.
I choose this image as my logo 15+ years ago while I still was a kid, I never new what it was nor where it came from and never though about it till now.
I suddently was interested in finding it origin and discovered it was a comics character from the chaos comics brand.
The chaos comics brand seems to have disappeared in 2002 making the copyright unclear.
To continue to keep the memory alive, I decided to simplify for 3d printing and to make a 2.5D model out of its character seemingly called “Smiley”.
Printing Information:
As there are smaller details than usual you should print this with a 0.2mm nozzle or scale it up (200% works fine) to use a regular 0.4mm to print this.
While this model is free to use, keep in mind that the logo (on which this model was based upon) was property of chaos comics that is now disfunct and that the copyright is uncertain. So would you want to use it commercially it would be at your own risk.
