The is for the Philco radios Circa 1940's that use the short push button. The knob measures 0.485x0.477x0.65
I designed the slot slightly larger than the shaft and added a ridge inside the slot to hold it firmly on the shaft. This works very well, but if the knob has too much play, you could use a touch of white glue to hold it firmly in place.
I used the CCTREE Dark Brown PLA+ filament and it ended up being a pretty good match to the original brown color.
I also tried the OVERTURE PETG Transparent Red. It does allow light to come through from the back as shown in one of the pictures. It is not as dark of a red as I had hoped, but it is not bad. I did have some trouble with the PETG where one side would be a little rough and required sanding. Also, I do not think the PETG liked the top-level ironing as well as the PLA as it always left a little bump I had to sand.
I printed using a Bambu X1C and made the following changes to the standard profiles:
- Turned on Top Level Ironing
- 3 wall loops
- infill pattern Gyroid
- 40% sparse infill density
- Turned on Outer brim only
