This is a parametric holder designed specifically for YOUR ring. Before you print it, open the Fusion360 file and adjust the two values to match the exact dimensions of your ring. Save the file as a .3mf, and slice it. I used PLA for mine, but honestly, anything will probably work. :)
I made this model because in my daily life, my ring often bothers me, whether it's during sports like SUP, as a carpenter, or as a student.
The model takes about 12 minutes to print and needs to be glued together afterward. The reason for this is that the orientation of the model needs to have the layers in the right direction, but also to keep the print time down. There are 3 holes in the model. The 2 small ones fit a piece of filament. :) (Otherwise, you can easily drill them with a 2mm bit.) Everything is assembled with a light press. A clamp or just your fingers will do. :)
Once everything is assembled, you can look forward to hearing a very satisfying click as your ring locks securely into place.
If you have a nurse or doctor in your life, they’ll love you for printing a model for them.
